Title: | Is never what I wish to see | Authors: | Abednego Trianto Kurniawan | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Photography | Issue Date: | 2010 | Abstract: | The project started as a survey of the principles of visual art in relation to 17th century Dutch still life on relationship between the artist's paintings and the audiences on how the audiences perceive the image visually especially to Paul Cezanne painting and comtemporary photography. Firstly, the project was trying to understand the fundamental elements of still life painting e.g., perspectives, space, form,composition and tone in respective era mentioned. Secondly, the project was experimenting the possibilities to create non-conventional still life photography by altering viewer perceptions.
