Title: | Study of jet-swirl nozzle plate for spray cooling | Authors: | Tan, Yunn Boon. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering | Issue Date: | 2012 | Abstract: | Spray cooling has the ability to remove high heat fluxes for high power systems. As the spray cooling with phase change takes advantage of a relatively large amount of latent heat, therefore it is capable of removing high heat fluxes from surfaces with a low superheat. Studying and understanding the spray characteristics of a jet-swirl nozzle will allow an optimum design of a multi-nozzle plate. Such a design can be used in the application where there is space constraint. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/53612 | Schools: | School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
