Title: | Conception | Authors: | Jean, Samantha Neubronner | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Animation | Issue Date: | 2014 | Abstract: | “Conception” is a visual music 2D animation that aims to explore the innate and subconscious process of human mind. It illustrates the visual journey of a thought, from the initial spark to the generation of something from nothing. Visually, it has been inspired by splatter paintings, by artists such as Jackson Pollock, as well as the fluidity of Chinese ink. These inspirations were then composited through a combination of experiments and techniques, to create an immersive experience, depicting the science behind how we think and create. This project aims to capture the essence of the human thought process; something that science neither has yet to illustrate nor comprehends fully. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/58929 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
