Four major cost sources in the injection molding mould fabrication has been considered in this model. They are Design Cost, Material Cost, Manufacturing Cost, and Testing Cost respectively. A set of formula used to model the relationships between the mould features and cost estimation outputs has also been introduced. Furthermore, an Excel application of this cost estimation model has been elaborated.
