Dr. Guoqing Chang joined the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technological University as a Nanyang Assistant Professor in 2020, following his receipt of the Singapore National Research Foundation Fellowship in 2021. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the National University of Singapore in 2017 and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University.

Dr. Chang has been named one of Clarivate Analytics' Highly Cited Researchers annually since 2019. Additionally, he was list as TR35 Asia Pacific in 2023, and he was honored with the Singapore Young Scientist Award the same year.
G. Chang has a broad interest in computational condensed matter physics and materials science. Combining cutting-edge computational and analytical techniques, G. Chang focuses on electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of various topological phases of matter.
