G. Chang won the Singapore National Research Foundation Fellowship (2021), and joined the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technological University as a Nanyang Assistant Professor in 2020.

G. Chang obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the National University of Singapore in 2017. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University before he joined NTU. G. Chang has been selected as one of Clarivate Analytics' highly cited researchers since 2019.
G. Chang has a broad interest in computational condensed matter physics and materials science. Combining cutting-edge computational and analytical techniques, G. Chang focuses on electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of various topological phases of matter.
