Academic Profile

G. Chang won the Singapore National Research Foundation Fellowship (2021), and joined in the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technological University as a Nanyang Assistant Professor in 2020.

G. Chang obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the National University of Singapore in 2017. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate in Prof. Hasan's group at Princeton University before he joined NTU. G. Chang has been selected as one of the Clarivate Analytics highly cited researchers since 2019.

G. Chang has a broad interest in computational condensed matter physics and materials science. Combining cutting-edge computational and analytical techniques, G. Chang focuses on electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of various topological phases of matter.
