Kelvin Yeo is a senior lecturer with the Strategy, Management & Organization Division at the Nanyang Business School (NBS). Aside from teaching business communication strategy and management, Kelvin actively consults for and trains industry partners.
Prior to joining NTU, Kelvin taught at the National University of Singapore where he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor. He also taught at the Singapore Management University as an Adjunct Faculty.
Before embarking on his academic career, Kelvin was a 29-year senior practitioner in the communications consulting and training industry where he held senior management positions in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. He has been the managing director at the Singapore office of three of the world’s leading agencies: Burson-Marsteller, MSL Group and Porter Novelli. In his last role, he managed the 25 staff of the public relations arm of the Publicis Groupe in Singapore.
Kelvin has counselled, trained and coached CEOs, senior level management and executives from multinational corporations, local companies and organisations, and government agencies in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and the USA. His areas of expertise include business communication, reputation management, change management, branding and corporate communications, personal branding, public engagement, public speaking, crisis and issues management and communications, and media engagement skills.
He has designed and delivered strategic communication campaigns and programmes for a myriad of clients.
