Svetlana Obraztsova currently holds the post of an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering of the Nanyang Technological University. Her previous appointments include a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Israeli Centre of Research Excellence (I-CORE), where she was affiliated with the Tel-Aviv University and then with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an appointment of a Postdoctoral Researcher with the CoreLab, National Technical University of Athens, Greece. Her work, even in its earliest stages, has been acknowledged by the research community, e.g. a Best Paper nomination at AAMAS-2011, and the Jay Modi Best Student Paper Award at AAMAS-2012. Her independent work continues to appear at top conferences (IJCAI, AAAI, AAMAS).
