Shirley SUN Hsiao-Li is Associate Professor of Sociology and Honorary Associate Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Dr. Sun was the recipient of NUS/NTU-Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Scientist Exchange Programme award (2011-2012) and the recipient of Certificate of Honour for mentoring undergraduate student winner of the NTU Koh Boon Hwee Scholar award (2013-2014).
A/P Sun served as the Assistant Dean (Research and Undergraduate Education) at the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences from 2015-2018, and has been appointed a member of an International Working Group by the Centre for Biomedical Ethics at the Yong Lin Loo School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) on its Big Data Ethics in Biomedicine project funded by the Singapore National Medical Research Council (2018-2021).
