Professor Kok-Yee Ng (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is Professor in International Management at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is also the Director of Research at the Center for Leadership and Cultural Intelligence (CLCI).

Professor Ng is best known for her research in cultural intelligence and global leadership. Her research is published in top academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Management Science, Group and Organization Management, and others. She also serves on editorial boards of journals specializing in trust and organization behavior.

An award-winning researcher and teacher, Professor Ng is the first in the Nanyang Business School to have attained the twin honor of winning the Nanyang Award for Excellence in Teaching and Nanyang Award for Excellence in Research. The Nanyang awards recognize outstanding faculty for their achievements and contributions at the university-level. Other awards include multiple Best Paper awards in the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology in the American Psychological Association and multiple Researcher of the Division and Teacher of the Division awards in the Nanyang Business School.

Since 2004, Professor Ng has created and conducted Master workshops and classes in Cultural Intelligence where she infuses the Center’s cutting edge research into highly interactive multi-media classes. The courses are conducted at the MBA and undergraduate programs in the Nanyang Business School, as well as in multinational corporations such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT), Applied Materials, and SAP Labs China. She is currently a principal co-investigator of a large scale, multi-year research project on designing, implementing, and assessing leadership development for the Singapore Public Service.
Kok-Yee Ng's research expertise is in the area of international organizational behavior, focusing on the role of culture and cultural intelligence in the domains of leadership and multicultural teams. In 2006, she guest co-editored a special issue on Cultural Intelligence in Group and Organization Management, which showcases cutting-edge thinking from renowned scholars in the field.
