Biography

Thana Thaver is a senior lecturer with the Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group, National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She teaches a range of courses from general pedagogies in teaching and learning, educational psychology to inclusive education.

She is currently Assistant Dean, Professional and Leadership Development in the Office of Graduate Studies and Professional Learning.


Prior to joining NIE, she was with Singapore's Ministry of Education as a Gifted Education Specialist where she was involved in curriculum development, supervising and coaching teachers in Gifted Education Programme.

Teacher attitudes towards disability and inclusive education, Developing inclusive attitudes and pedagogies, Provisions for diverse learners, Differentiated Instruction
