Assoc Prof Chong Wan Har
Associate Professor, National Institute of Education - Psychology and Child & Human Development
Dr Chong Wan Har is an Associate Professor with the Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group. Her early work experience was in special education settings, primarily with early intervention programs, and in de-institutionalization programs with the Auckland Health Board in New Zealand. She also assumed teaching and research positions at the University of Auckland and the Auckland Medical School. She teaches educational psychology, counseling psychology and program evaluaton at in-service and post-graduate levels. She has worked in various community-based evaluation and implementation projects as a principal and co-prinicipal investigator, consultant and trainer. Dr Chong co-heads the Centre for Assessment and Evaluation at NIE. She is the deputy chair under the Social, Behavioral and Educational Sciences domain of the NTU Institutional Review Board (IRB).
