Dr Chua Bee Leng is the Associate Dean for Professional Practice (Office of Teacher Education) at the National Institute of Education. She is also an Associate Professor with the Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group. She has conducted research in the areas of Teacher Education, Digital Portfolio, Mediated Learning Experience, Problem-based learning, and Technology-mediated learning.
In addition to her work in National Institute of Education, she also shares her expertise in subject disciplines such as educational studies and instructional pedagogies with schools and educators from other organizations and countries regularly. She is currently the President of the World Education Research Association (WERA) and Educational Research Association of Singapore (ERAS).
