A/P. Li Jia is an Associate Professor of the Asian Languages and Cultures, National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU). She received her Ph.D. in classical Chinese literature at Peking University, and she was invited as visiting scholar at Rikkyo University (JP), SOAS University of London (UK), and University of Pennsylvania (US).  

She has produced more than 70 scholarly publications in Chinese and English in China, Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Spain, and Singapore. She has 20 journal articles, which are published in Tier-1 journals and Tier-1 Boutique Journals. She has successfully secured 10 grants as PI or Co-PI and was invited by Rikkyo University, National University of Singapore, SOAS University of London, National Taiwan University and National Taipei University of Education to give academic presentations.
