Wee Boon started teaching in 1991 after completing his Diploma in Physical Education in the College of Physical Education, Institute of Education, Singapore. He taught in River Valley High School before going overseas to pursue his degree in Physical Education in Loughborough University in 1994. Upon completion, he taught in Singapore Chinese Girls’ School from 1997 to 2012 before joining NIE as a Lecturer.
Wee Boon took on different leadership portfolios in SCGS which included Prefect Master, IT Subject Head as well as Head of Department for PE, Aesthetics and CCA. In 2007, Wee Boon completed his Management and Leadership in Schools in NIE, Singapore. He is currently the Practicum Leader in PESS, NIE.
