Peter obtained both his B.Sc.(Hons) and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore. His current research is directed towards the interface of inorganic/ bioinorganic/ organometallic chemistry and cell/molecular biology, looking at the chemical biology and chemical genetics of metal complexes and their applications in medicine.
