Dr Chang Qizhong is a Lecturer at the English Language and Literature Academic Group, at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr. Chang received his PhD from the National University of Singapore in 2016. He teaches grammar, syntax, academic writing and communication skills courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma levels. He actively supervises Masters dissertations as well as undergraduate research projects.
Dr Chang's research interests include grammar pedagogy, the syntax and semantics of Singapore English, and analyzing English Language instruction in Singapore through a variationist lens. He also conducts research on teachers' professional development and PD models.
