Asst Prof Suh Hanna
Assistant Professor, National Institute of Education - Psychology and Child & Human Development
Dr. Hanna Suh obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from University of Florida and is a licensed psychologist in United States. Her research centers on examining the applicability and effectiveness of positive psychology interventions (e.g., mindfulness, compassion, meaning-oriented approaches) with stress-prone individuals such as perfectionists. She has extensive clinical experience with youth and adults in various settings including university counseling centers, community agencies, and outpatient hospitals. She completed her doctoral internship at University of Pennsylvania Counseling and Psychological Services. She is also passionate about teaching and enjoys mentoring and supervising students to become creative life-long learners. Before joining NIE, Dr. Suh was an assistant professor (tenure-track) at SUNY Buffalo.
