I'm an interdisciplinary educator in sociology, social sciences, career and entrepreneurial development at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP).

My research at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) focused on technology, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, shared services, operations and communications.

I have served in strategic policy research, governance, grants management, educational career development facilitation and counselling roles at the Singapore Government and boards of charities in the education, social and community sectors.

In setting up the new Office of the Commissioner of Charities (COC) and the Charity Council, I led a team of officers to develop the Code of Governance (COG) for Charities and Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs), the online Governance Evaluation Checklist on the Charity Portal, the Voluntary Welfare Organisations - Charities Capability Fund (VCF) and the Charity Governance Awards (CGA).

At the Singapore50 (SG50) Programme Office, I led a team of officers to formulate and administer the SG50 Celebration Fund and SG50 Collaboration Fund for Government ministries.

I graduated from NUS with Master of Social Sciences (Applied Sociology, with Economics), Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology (Second Class Upper Honours), Bachelor of Arts (Merit) in Economics and Sociology.

I'm a Ministry of Education (MOE) certified education/ career guidance counsellor and career development facilitator (Workforce Skills Qualifications Advanced Certificate from Institute of Adult Learning, Centre for Credentialing and Education, USA) and an IBM certified practitioner in artificial intelligence, data science, cloud computing and enterprise design thinking.
