Dr. D. Sundararaj is a Lecturer in the Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) Academic Group at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He holds a PhD(JNU) in Comparative Linguistics and a Post Graduate(MKU) in Tamil Studies. Sundararaj started his career as language teacher at Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2009 and teach Tamil both are first language and second language in some Colleges, Universities in India and Germany.
Sundararaj's research interests include Comparative linguistics, Phonetics, Tamil Dialects and Language teaching. He has published in various international and regional journals, such as International Journal of Arabic Linguistic Tradition, Al-Turas, Kālaccuvaṭu, Puthiya Panuval. Sundararaj has published two books on Comparative linguistics.
