Dr. Jinwoo Kim is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He earned PhD from Seoul National University (Civil & Environmental Engineering), Korea and BS from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Double Major in Civil & Environmental Engineering and Business & Technology Management). Before joining NTU, he was a research fellow at the University of Michigan, USA, and served in the Korean military as a professional researcher at the Institute of Construction and Environmental Engineering.
His research interests lie in human-centred construction AI and robotics to transform the construction industry to be more productive, safe, and sustainable. He has collaborated with various industrial and engineering companies, including Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Heavy Industries, and VelocityEHS.
