Guangzhi Ye is an Assistant Professor in Economics at Nanyang Technological University. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University in 2022 with fields of interest in macroeconomics and finance. He received his B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on interactions of firms' investment and financing behaviors, aggregate impacts of the recovery rate, and intangible capital. He also studies the effect of immigration on entrepreneurship in the US. Prior to joining NTU, he was a teaching fellow for macroeconomic and data science courses at Boston University.
