Shen Xinhui Joined the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering on 1 Jul 2023 as a Lecturer. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Hons.) and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in 2014 and 2019, respectively. His Ph.D. study focused on low Reynolds number bio-locomotions and hydromechanical sensing of copepods.
His research area focuses on low Reynolds number fluid dynamics and biological oceanography, in particular on how hydromechanical and chemical cues are transported in zooplanktons.
