We are interested in developing and employing mass spectrometry (MS) based analytical methods to study protein interactions in biological processes. MS is a powerful technique that is widely utilized in both academia and industry.
Currently, we are interested in the following areas:
1. Protein-ligand interaction structural dynamics and kinetics in emerging infectious disease via hydrogen-deuterium exchange MS and native MS.
2. Proteomics and metabolomics in multi-omics investigation of various biological/disease processes.
3. Unknown compound identification and quantification with industrial collaborators.
4. MS instrumentations.
Undergraduate and graduate students interested in bioanalytical chemistry with a focus in MS are welcome to inquire. Our group also welcome both academic and industrial collaborations. Currently we have an opening for project officer/research assistant.
