My research is focussed on the semantic foundations, security properties, and practical applications of the WebAssembly programming language. WebAssembly is a new and rapidly growing technology which has found use on the Web, on cloud infrastructure, in embedded systems, and in blockchain ecosystems. In addition to my research activities, I currently co-chair the WebAssembly Community Group, the main industrial body for the language.

Before joining NTU I was a Research Fellow at Peterhouse, University of Cambridge. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 2021, and my MEng in Computer Science from Imperial College London in 2016. My doctoral dissertation received the EAPLS Best Dissertation Award and an ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award Honorable Mention.
