Evelyn is a medical educator and UK-trained General Practitioner, who has a growing interest in supporting LKC medical students holistically.
As well as regularly facilitating sessions with all year groups in clinical communication, clinical methods and clinical procedure, she also works closely with Simulated Patients (SPs) in preparation for and during teaching and assessments, as well as assisting in the running of recruitment sessions and training workshops. Experienced in Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) examining, Evelyn takes on lead roles including briefing and calibration. She enjoys offering formal remedial workshops for students requiring supplementary examination.
These complement her other role as a Fleming House tutor, which allows engagement with students in a pastoral context, as well as participating in wider aspects of their student life such as their social and sporting events.
Evelyn is excited to be recently appointed Assistant Lead, Clinical Communication & Medical Lecturer, where she can continue to build on her skillsets, in particular the areas of the new curriculum reform as well as Digital Learning and AI powered communication tools.
