Roger Loh is an Associate Professor of Finance (with tenure) at Nanyang Business School at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He joined NTU in July 2024. He was previously a tenured Associate Professor of Finance at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University (SMU), where he has served as Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) and the Area Coordinator of the Finance group. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Finance from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University in 2008. His research interests are in the areas of behavorial finance, sell-side analysts, and empirical asset pricing. His work has been published in the top finance journals, namely Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. He has won best-paper awards at international conferences, and research awards at SMU. He is also an accolade-winning instructor, having taught in Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD programmes, in courses such as Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, and Advanced Portfolio Management.
