Grace is an Assistant Professor in the Leadership, Management, and Organisation division at Nanyang Business School, NTU, Singapore.
Grace studies inclusion and diversity in organizations. Her research program focuses on employees belonging to groups that are disadvantaged in terms of opportunity and achievement, such as employees from lower social class backgrounds and women. She takes an integrative, and, notably, agentic perspective, to understand how such workers can be empowered to fare better at work. She uses multiple methodologies, such as field surveys, experiments, archival data, and qualitative methods, to demonstrate the robustness of her findings and to strengthen inferences of both internal and external validity.
Her research has been published in journals such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and Academy of Management Annals. She currently serves on the editorial review board of Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
Grace earned her Ph.D. in Business (Organizational Behavior and Human Resources) at Singapore Management University and her B.Sc. in Psychology from National University of Singapore.
