Professor Andrea Pavesi is an Assistant Professor of Cancer Biology at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He also held a Principal Investigator position at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and a co-principal investigator position at the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI), National University of Singapore. In addition to his academic roles, Prof. Pavesi is a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) member for AIM Biotech Pte Ltd.

He completed his MSc and BSc in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan and later obtained an MSc in Management of Health Industries from ESSEC Business School in Singapore. He was awarded the prestigious Interpolitecnic PhD fellowship, which supported part of his PhD studies at MIT. He then completed his postgraduate studies at the Singapore-MIT campus.

Prof. Pavesi's research focuses on the tumor immune microenvironment, specifically developing immune-competent cancer models to better understand immune-tumor interactions.
