Three types of array antennas for 60-GHz radios. 2012 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings. | Conference: | Asia Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC) (2012 : Kaohsiung, Taiwan) | Abstract: | There are three popular types of array antennas for 60GHz radios. They are patch array antenna and cavity array antenna as well as grid array antenna. This paper reports the designs of them in the same LTCC technology. It is shown that the grid array antenna has the simplest structure, the highest radiation efficiency, and aperture efficiency. However, the gain-bandwidth of the grid array antenna needs to be enhanced to cover the 60-GHz band. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/99116 http://hdl.handle.net/10220/12620 |
