A novel sliding IF transmitter scheme is proposed for Ka satellite transmitter. The sliding IF scheme requires a low LO synthesizer frequency of 11.22GHz, which make LO easily be implemented on board level and also provide the advantages on the spurious suppression by reduce the requirements on the RF filters. Based on the proposed transmitter architecture, the system level design and simulation is carried to tradeoff among the power, noise, spectrum purity and linearity. A 2W transmitter is developed on the low cost printed circuit board. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/98715 http://hdl.handle.net/10220/13450 |
