|Title:||Using MySQL to build up a database for E-learning Chinese classifiers||Authors:||Chen, Jiaxing||Keywords:||Chinese classifier
|Issue Date:||2014||Source:||Chen, J. (2014, March). Using MySQL to build up a database for E-learning Chinese classifiers. Presented at Discover URECA @ NTU poster exhibition and competition, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.||Abstract:||Noun classifier is a special feature of Chinese. It usually occurs together with a determiner(“zhe” meaning “this”) or numeral(“yi” meaning “one”) before a noun. Besides the grammatical function of measure word, they can also reflect some inherent semantic features of their associated nouns. This property makes the acquisition of Chinese classifiers difficult for L2 learners. [3rd Award]||URI:||https://hdl.handle.net/10356/102361
