Abstract: A simple and unique strategy has been successfully designed for sensitive detection and rapid clearance of bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS) by integration of core–shell Fe3O4@SiO2 magnetic nanoparticles with a perylene-diimide (PDI) conjugated LPS-recognition peptide.
