      Abstract
This paper simply discusses the structure and the principle of design of compound parabolic concentrator (CPC), introduces three methods of increasing the maximum concentration angle θ max: reflector translation, cutting fundus and reflector revolved, produces the formula of θ max along with the change of geometry size in various methods. To actual CPC with different concentrating ratio, the curve of the maximum concentration increment along with the change of geometry variable in three cases, and analyzes the key factors of affecting the maximum concentration angle of CPC.
