Abstract: This paper aims to explore tghe factors behind furniture chain IKEA's success, how its successful adaptation of offering well-designed abd functional home furnishing products at affordable prices, meshed with effective strategies in manpower management and globalization, can be standardized in a universally accepted model and exported to diverse markets to earn profits. In the subesquent parts of the paper, some problems and challenges IKEA faced in its past and will continue to face, will be discussed in further detail.
