Effects of emotional intelligence on team dynamics with team leadership and communication as mediators.

Abstract

In this study, we aim to show how team leadership and communication act as mediating variables in the association between team emotional intelligence and team dynamics. Specifically, we focus on positive team dynamics like trust-building, agreement seeking and cohesiveness; and negative team dynamics like interpersonal conflict, groupthink and social loafing.
