Abstract: This paper did a comparative study between US and Singapore, to find out the possible reasons for the difference in the level of usage of e-recruitment. It also discusses the benefits and challenges of e-recruitment as well as the rationale for Singapore to rapidly take on e-recruitment and how companies can better prepare themselves to do so. In addition, the report serves to highlight the importance of privacy policies in protecting personal information of jobseekers who apply online and whether the Singapore companies surveyed are aware of it.
