Abstract: With a relatively small telecommunications market, Singapore’s mobile services are provided by three main players, namely Singtel, Starhub and MobileOne (M1). Due to the limited local market, service providers are facing intense competition from one another in retaining current customers and attracting new ones. As they are unable to differentiate themselves in terms of the ‘products’ offered due to similar technology being employed, they will need to distinguish themselves in terms of service quality provided.
