|Keywords:||DRNTU::Business::Industries and labor||Issue Date:||2000||Abstract:||This paper aims to trace the tourism development in Singapore for the period 1819 to 2000. We have developed a Singapore model from the case study. The Ashworth and Tunbridge model has been used as a comparison against this development. We have concluded that the development in the Singapore model does not really coincide with the stages depicted in the Ashworth and Tunbridge model.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/10356/10384||Rights:||Nanyang Technological University||Fulltext Permission:||restricted||Fulltext Availability:||With Fulltext|
