Title: | Ex-offenders' reintegration in Singapore. | Authors: | Li, Shuting. Ng, Swee Eng. Tan, Sok Teng. |
Keywords: | DRNTU::Social sciences::Sociology::Criminology | Issue Date: | 2007 | Abstract: | Our Applied Research Project looks at how ex-offenders reintegrate into society and discusses how various agencies help ex-offenders reintegrate into society. Through interviews with SCORE’s top management, a counselor, a pastor, two ex-offenders and two existing employers of ex-offenders, we obtain insights into the difficulties ex-offenders face when reintegrating into society. We also conduct a survey with the public to assess the level of acceptance it has for ex-offenders, which shows generally favorable perceptions towards ex-offenders. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/10413 | Schools: | Nanyang Business School | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
