Economic competition or cooperation between Hong Kong and Singapore.

Abstract

Using a computable general equilibrium model of Hong Kong and Singapore, simulations of various policy changes were performed. The results were analysed to examine the effects of these policy changes, from which we can infer the nature of the relationship between the two economies and identify opportunities for policy coordination which will benefit both economies.
