Keywords: | DRNTU::Business::General::Education | Issue Date: | 2008 | Abstract: | This paper seeks to collect and analyze students’ perspective with regards to the incorporation of entrepreneurial thinking into Nanyang Business School (NBS) courses. As entrepreneurship becomes more desirable, coupled with the increasing number of students becoming entrepreneurs, this paper then elaborates on the need for entrepreneurial thinking to take place in NBS. A survey was carried out to determine the extent of entrepreneurial thinking in NBS, and the methods that could be used to incorporate it. Results from the survey illustrated that majority of final year students in NBS felt that there was a lack of entrepreneurial thinking in their core course, and recommended methods of incorporating it in. The most popular method was the simulation of real-life working experiences in relevant courses. Using these results, this paper then proposes certain recommendations to the school with regards to the incorporation of entrepreneurial thinking in NBS. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/10556 | Schools: | Nanyang Business School | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
