dc.description.abstractFive substituted tetraazadioxaacenes have been synthesized through the condensation of 2,3,7,8-tetraaminodibenzo-1,4-dioxin tetrahydrochloride and diketones. In their Full Paper on page 852 ff., Qichun Zhang and co-workers shown that these linearly extended molecules have relatively large bandgaps, and some of the compounds have less negative reduction potentials than is predicted by calculations.en
