Abstract: This project examines the effectiveness of the motivating factors in encouraging managers in Singapore to participate in knowledge transfer. A questionnaire was developed based on the findings on the motivating factors from our literature review. The results of the survey was then analyzed and the two factors investigated in this survey proved to be effective in motivating managers to share their ideas. The survey results revealed that promotion and praise could also be motivational.
