The story of hands exhibition - FYP in photojournalism.

Abstract

This report is a record of our experiences in planning and executing a photo exhibition titled ‘‘The Story of Hands” in March 2005. In the report, we aim to share the hows and the whys behind the making of our very first photo exhibition: why we chose to focus on human hands as our theme, what approaches we adopted towards shooting and selecting the images, obtaining the exhibition venue as well as publicity strategies used. Though it is undeniable that we wrote this report with the benefit of hindsight, we hope that readers will gain useful information from these reflections and obtain some useful lessons from our experience.
