Abstract: Realistic job previews (RJPs), which seek to provide a truthful description of the job, have generally been shown to increase job satisfaction, improve job performance and retention of employees. This present study goes a step further to identify the types of job information that are truly relevant to applicants and hence should be incorporated into any RJPs.
