Globalisation as the future for Singapore banks.

Abstract

The authors would like to examine the three methods of expansion, namely, strategic alliances and joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and de novo growth, and the applicability of these methods to Singapore banks. The authors would also looked at certain factors that will have an impact on the smooth implementation of the various strategies.
