Capital flight : the Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines experience

Abstract

Studies on capital flight in Southeast Asian countries during the 1980s seem to be lacking, as compared to the abundant studies that have been done on their Latin American counterparts during the same period. Our aim is thus to provide an insight into the capital flight phenomenon in three SEA countries, namely Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
