Abstract: Teleworking is a growing phenomenon in the recent years. More and more employers are beginning to see the benefits of letting their employees work off-site. A study involving 10 organisations in Singapore and overseas was carried out. Based on interviews and secondary data sources, it was found that home-office is the most popular type of teleworking adopted by teleworkers. Internet and ISDN were the more common technologies employed by organisations to support the teleworking environment.
