Comparison of Singaporean's health care expenditure for 1996 and 1997.

Abstract

This research project is a follow-up of a study conducted by a group of final year students a year ago. Their report has revealed many valuable information with respect to the following issues: 1) How often Singaporeans use medical services; 2) How much they spend on the different types of health care services; 3) The extent to which utilization rate depends on demographic and socio-economic factors; 4) the components of expenditure with regards to the financing mechanism available.
