|Keywords:||DRNTU::Business::Finance::Banking||Issue Date:||1999||Abstract:||In this report, we examine the potential of Singapore banks expanding into China to support foreign investors there. First, we would provide a broad overview of China’s economy and her banking system in order to establish some general understanding of China’s background. Next, through the means of a questionnaire sent to companies with investments in China, we establish the foreign investors’ preferences among Chinese, Singapore and other foreign banks, and the reasons for their preferences.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/10356/11005||Rights:||Nanyang Technological University||Fulltext Permission:||restricted||Fulltext Availability:||With Fulltext|
